Happy Hallowe'en
It's Hallowe'en...
Without further ado here's a great ghostly cartoon featuring a haunted house, spooky goings-on, and "those white things that go MWwwwwwaaaaaa-haaaahhhhhhaaaa--haaaaaaaaaa--haaaa-haaaa!!!" (animated by John Carey... my favourite joke in the cartoon, too).
Yes, that is Pinto Colvig, better known as the voice of Disney's "Goofy" who does the vocals for the ghost. I also like how Warners' cartoons from these early years incorporated the songs into the cartoon too.. brings back the meaning of "Looney Tunes"... it's very creative.
Great sight jokes, nice animation from Vive Risto and John Carey.... hope you enjoy it.

Larry,
The ghost has always sounded more like Mel Blanc doing a Colvig impression than the real Colvig to me. Listen to him as he sings in while he is bathing in the washing machine, for example --- sounds more like Mel.

I agree with Jon. While Colvig was being used by the studio at the time -- that's definitely Pinto in "Hobo Gadget Band" and "Snowman's Land" -- but it also was right about the time he took off for the Fleischer Studios in Miami, and it seems as though the ghost was supposed to be Colvig, but he couldn't do the recording session and Blanc took his place.

It's definitely Blanc. Thre ghost's "Taunting, daunting, All around I'm haunting" line sounds almost exactly like Barney Rubble.
